Westchester County, Tibbetts Pool Modernization
First developed in 1920, this outdated 50,000-square-foot pool was historically significant to the County Parks Department. CHA developed a water park plan that retains the grand architectural significance of the facility while striving to more than double the patron attendance. The facility includes a 1,000-foot lazy river, basketball pool, lap pool, volleyball (dry and wet), two beach entry pools, water walk, multi-level aquatic play structure and kiddy pool, two body slides, concessions, restroom and lots of shade for hot sunny days. CHA performed all phases of planning, design and construction engineering services for this facility.
