Mount St. Mary's University, Waldron Family Stadium

The CHA team performed design/build services for the turnkey design and construction of the new Waldron Family Stadium Complex on the MSMU campus. Our program included all site permitting, storm water management, parking and road upgrades, common plaza areas for spectators, site work, building interiors, mechanicals, and field lighting.

This $4.7 million project was constructed in two phases to allow for quicker completion of the field. CHA performed all the design and permitting tasks and all the construction and project management tasks. The completed project is a first class athletic facility servicing the Division I student athletes at Mount St Mary's University. The new complex features:

• New synthetic turf field
• Electronic scoreboard
• Site fencing
• 1,000-seat bleacher system with press box
• 1,200 SF public restroom, ticketing and concession building
• 7,000 SF team support building consisting of coaches offices, new training room, and new locker rooms for men's and women's soccer and lacrosse

CHA also completed renovations and upgrades to the baseball facility at MSMU under a design/build contract. This project consisted of new press box, bleachers, fencing and field upgrades completed at a total cost of $450,000.
