CHA provided planning, construction documentation, and construction administration services for the synthetic turf field at the new Meadowlands Stadium. Removable turf panels in both end zones and at mid-field allow the playing field to easily accommodate the needs of both the New York Jets and the New York Giants. CHA also provided field grading and drainage design for the 82,500-seat stadium, which was open for the 2010 season.
CHA also provided planning, design, construction documentation, and construction administration services for the playing field systems at the Giants Training Facility immediately adjacent to the stadium. This facility includes two high-performance sand-based fields, two outdoor synthetic turf fields, and one indoor synthetic turf field.
