Jennifer Ross Soccer Complex
CHA provided design, permitting, and construction administration services for the expansion of the Jennifer Ross Soccer Complex. The complex was expanded by 11-acres to include three new synthetic turf multipurpose fields, a 2,200-sf new concession/restroom building, and new storage building. The fields have temperature-reducing infill, LED sports lighting, and are designed for multi-sport use (e.g., soccer, lacrosse, and football) and both full pitch and small-sided play. The concession building includes a large, covered three-window concession area, public restroom, and a multipurpose room that is used for staff offices and an officials locker room. The project was unique in that it was constructed within a flood plain, requiring additional permitting and flood plain mitigation.
