Inspection for Underground Storage Tank Removal and Replacement
Our team performed construction engineering and inspection services as part of the Connecticut Department of Transportation’s efforts to mitigate environmental issues found at its highway garage facilities. Projects involved removal and replacement of underground fueling storage and dispenser infrastructure, improvements to water treatment systems, and replacement of facility heating system boiler burners.
We coordinated the construction to minimize and maintain downtime to meet strict CTDOT and Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (CTDEEP) permit requirements for water quality and fuel system monitoring. Fuel and heating system renovations were performed while CTDOT maintained the use of the facility.
