Ford Windsor 28 MW Steam Turbine Generator Installation

CHA provided detailed engineering, design and procurement services for the installation of a 28.5 MW extraction condensing steam turbine generator in the existing powerhouse of the Ford Motor Company Plant. The unit was mounted on a modified existing foundation and an existing condenser was refurbished to serve the new unit. The project was carried out in a joint venture with the installing contractor.
