Cornell Central Heating Plant Steam Boilers Addition
The Cornell University Central Heating Plant was upgraded and expanded by the installation of two 110,000 lb/hr, 400 psig, 600°F superheated steam boilers burning natural gas or No. 6 fuel oil to replace two existing boilers. The project also included one boiler feed pump, steam pressure reducing/desuperheating system, extensive boilerhouse building modifications, expansion and upgrading of the distributed control system.
