CHG&E Electric Distribution System
CHA has a multi-year contract to provide design, estimating, and drafting services for changes, upgrades and maintenance to CHG&E’s gas and electric distribution infrastructure. These services are being provided for CHG&E’s overhead and underground electrical systems. Our support ranges from small maintenance repairs to large-scale capital improvement projects, including new distribution designs, conversion, reconductoring, URDs and sub-transmission work.
Our electric estimators handle all aspects of work order development, including CAD drawings, accounting data input, and ROW and permitting acquisition. In addition, CHA has produced cost analysis reports for overhead vs. underground transmission as part of CHG&E's transmission rebuild program. Substation drafting support is also being supplied to CHG&E’s substation engineers.
