Calstock Power Project

This project involved the construction of a 35 MW wood waste fired, independent power plant in northern Ontario. The plant utilizes residue from forest product industries in the region to produce electrical energy that is sold to Ontario Hydro under a power purchase agreement (PPA). Additionally, waste heat is recovered from an adjacent gas turbine-driven pipeline compressor station owned by TransCanada PipeLines.
