Benjamin Russell Hospital for Children

The Benjamin Russell Hospital for Children—one of the largest hospital construction projects in Alabama—is the centerpiece of Children’s Hospital of Alabama. This renowned medical institution based in Birmingham offers comprehensive pediatric care.

In a joint venture with HOAR/BE&K, CHA developed comprehensive fire suppression systems. Features included variable speed fire pumps, high-pressure standpipe systems, and numerous wet, dry, and pre-action systems. Taking over from a lagging fire sprinkler contractor, CHA installed the system without delay, meeting the project schedule.

This significant undertaking showcases the Children's Hospital of Alabama’s commitment to providing exceptional medical services in a safeguarded environment.
