ADNY Energy Assessments
CHA conducted comprehensive ASHRAE Level 2 energy audits for over 90 facilities operated by the Archdiocese of New York (ADNY) to identify opportunities to improve the energy and operational efficiency of the ADNY's portfolio of 1,900 buildings, which include churches, schools, healthcare facilities, and multifamily buildings. Along with performing the audit work, CHA assisted the ADNY with retro-commissioning (RCx) services related to NYC Local Law 87 compliance, and we were involved with the development of an energy master plan. In addition, infrared (IR) thermography was used to perform non-invasive surveys of heating and cooling systems and to identify areas in need of additional insulation. Over $1.8 million in energy savings have been identified.
