Vote "People's Choice" for CHA's Transportation Team!

CHA’s transportation team has a project finalist in the 10th Annual America’s Transportation Awards competition.  The “Top 12” projects from around the county are competing at the national level for the Grand Prize and the People’s Choice Award. Now it’s your time to vote!

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet’s Ohio River Bridges: Downtown Crossing project is facing off against 11 other outstanding projects for People’s Choice. This roughly $1.319 billion project, which is anticipated to generate more than $87 billion in economic growth, built more than 50 miles of new roadway and included more than 60 overpasses and bridges to dramatically improve safety and cross-river mobility between Louisville, Kentucky, and Southern Indiana. Among other major assignments, CHA designed the $175 million approach roadways on the Indiana side of the bridge, widening I-65 from 11 to 14 lanes.
