Ryan Voorhees Named to Central New York 40 Under 40 Class of 2019

CHA Project Engineer/Project Manager II, Ryan Voorhees, PE, CEM, has been named a member of the Central New York Business Journal’s 2019 Class of 40 Under 40. This annual program honors talented young professionals in Central New York for their business leadership, industry recognition and community involvement. Ryan is based in CHA’s Syracuse office.

One of CHA's highly-skilled Central New York Industry & Energy Project Managers, Ryan has led energy audits, engineering design, and continuous improvement/lean events for industrial facilities across New York, which have resulted in production increases, lower energy usage and lower operating costs.

Ryan actively promotes the importance of STEM education and volunteers at Museum of Science and Technology (MoST) and dedicates his time to many professional organizations. He is an Executive Committee Member of the Plant Engineer’s Council for the Manufacturer’s Association of Central New York, an organization that educates professionals about manufacturing and organizes tours of manufacturing facilities to gain awareness of issues facing Upstate New York manufacturers. He is also a frequent presenter at conferences and industry events.
