Jeremy Martelle, CHA's Regional Manager of Aviation, Earns AAAE Certification

Posted August 22, 2017

ALBANY, NY – Jeremy Martelle, CHA’s Regional Manager of Aviation and Immediate Past President of the New York Aviation Management Association (NYAMA), has become a Certified Member (C.M.) of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE). Certification recognizes Mr. Martelle’s comprehensive knowledge of airport management and demonstrates his commitment to the aviation industry. He permanently retains the C.M. designation.

The C.M. program is open to all active members of the AAAE or International Association of Airport Executives (IAAE). The rigorous examination assesses an applicant’s understanding of airport finance and administration; planning, construction and environmental services; airport operations, security and maintenance; and communications and community relations. The C.M. designation along with additional criteria, qualifies the professional to advance to the AAAE’s Accredited Airport Executive (A.A.E.) program.

“There is no better example of Jeremy’s passion for the aviation industry than his determination to become a Certified Member of AAAE,” said Michael DeVoy, CHA’s Aviation Market Leader. “This certification is a validation of the unique understanding of airport operations and planning Jeremy brings to CHA’s clients. I’m proud to serve with him on the CHA aviation team.”

Mr. Martelle serves as Regional Manager for CHA’s Aviation practice, bringing more than 26 years of aviation experience in civil and military aviation operations. He has testified at congressional and state hearings on issues facing aviation on both state and federal levels. He was elected President of the NYAMA Board of Director’s in 2016, serving a one-year term, and he continues to promote the viability and business interests of New York State’s airports.
