Jay Wolverton Nominated as Chair-Elect of ACEC Board of Directors

Jay Wolverton,PE, CHA’s Chief Growth Officer, has been nominated as chair-elect of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC)’s Board of Directors. For decades, ACEC has provided leadership and advocacy to strengthen and enhance the engineering industry and the built environment. Jay will serve as 2022 chair-elect of the council, representing more than 600,000 engineers, architects, land surveyors, and other specialists as the voice of the engineering industry in Washington, D.C. He will assume the role of chair in 2023.

Jay has more than 35 years of engineering and leadership experience and is a licensed Professional Engineer in 32 states. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, he provides strategic oversight and direction, focusing on the significant growth anticipated for the company, and communicates the corporate viewpoint to key clients and external constituents. He conveys CHA’s mission, culture, and vision to staff while mentoring the firm’s principals and officers. Prior to joining CHA, Jay was the founder and CEO of Wolverton & Associates, which was acquired by CHA in June 2019 and has been fully integrated and rebranded as CHA.
