Posted March 2, 2020

CHA’s Pervez Iqbal, PE, Highway Group Technical Leader, has been named to the Engineering-News Record’s (ENR’s) fourth annual national Top 20 Under 40. Every year, ENR’s 10 regional publications recognize their own regional classes of Top Young Professionals. From these candidates, only 20 industry professionals are selected for the national list, which represents the very best of emerging leaders from across the country.

Pervez was originally named a 2020 Top Young Professional and featured in the January 2020 issue of ENR Southeast. Out of nearly 500 nominees, representing young leaders from across all 50 states, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico, Pervez was selected for ENR’s national Top 20 Under 40 list. Pervez’s recognition as one of the industry’s top emerging professionals reaffirms his leadership, career success, initiative, community involvement, and role creating landmark projects.

Pervez works tirelessly to create and revitalize transportation infrastructure across the Southeastern and Midwestern United States, all the while mentoring the next generation of emerging professionals. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Pervez’s commitment to professional development and personal engagement in his community embody CHA’s mission statement of “responsibly improving the world we live in.”

ENR will feature Pervez and his insight into the most pressing issues affecting the engineering and construction industry in an in-depth spotlight published by ENR later this year.
