CHA Responds to Passage of Federal Infrastructure Bill

Posted November 9, 2021

Safe, resilient, and reliable infrastructure is the backbone of a thriving community. From safe roads and bridges to clean water and accessible energy and broadband, life today depends on sustainable structures and utilities. Investing in infrastructure has always been important, but now more than ever, there’s an understanding that repairs, replacements and improvements have been put off too long. The time has come to fix it, upgrade it or build it now.

The Infrastructure Investment & Jobs Act, newly passed and soon to be signed by the President, provides an historic investment of over $1 trillion dollars over five years to facilitate many needed projects, big and small, and it will have far-reaching results, including safer travel, improved mobility for goods and people, and improved quality of life. As the funding details are shared and states, counties and local communities learn about their specific funding opportunities, our team stands ready to study, guide, design, manage, and build with you, as your trusted advisor and partner.

We know our local communities, and we know infrastructure – roads, bridges, airports, water systems, energy, rail, ports, and broadband. CHA was founded on designing innovative, sustainable solutions for the most challenging infrastructure projects, and with nearly seven decades of experience, we value our partnership with our clients and our mission to responsibly improve the world we live in.
