CHA Earns Two New York State APWA Awards

The New York State Branch of the American Public Works Association (APWA) has awarded CHA Consulting, Inc. (CHA) two New York State 2020 Project of the Year Awards for the City of Troy Seawall Stabilization project and the Roosevelt II Bathhouse Rehabilitation.

The APWA Awards celebrate public works projects demonstrating superior technology or management innovations, safety performance, environmental considerations, community relations, or accomplishments under adverse conditions. Projects are entered at the local level; winners are advanced to the State and National Awards competitions. New York State Best Project Awards will be awarded to nine projects, including two for CHA. Thirty nominations were considered from all five branches across New York State, with the state winners earning nominations for APWA National Award consideration. CHA’s New York State Best Project winners are:

  • City of Troy Seawall Stabilization - Structures $5 - $25 Million
    Managing Agency: City of Troy
  • Roosevelt II Bathhouse Rehabilitation - Historic Preservation <$5 Million
    Managing Agency: NYS Office of Parks Recreation & Historic Preservation
