Posted March 10, 2020

CHA Consulting, Inc. (CHA), a highly diversified, full-service consulting engineering firm, has been awarded an Environmental Business Journal (EBJ) Business Achievement Award for Mergers & Acquisitions for outstanding business performance. CHA was awarded for advancing its position as a full-service engineering and construction management firm through three strategic acquisitions in 2019: Daedalus Projects, JBS Project Management, and Wolverton and Associates. All three firms have been fully integrated and rebranded as CHA.

Daedalus Projects has expanded and deepened CHA’s experience in project management and cost estimating accelerating CHA’s growth into the metro-Boston market. JBS Project Management has further bolstered the firm’s project management resources and has led the expansion of CHA’s services lines and presence in New York City.

With the acquisition of Wolverton and Associates, CHA added nearly 100 employees specializing in full-service transportation and civil engineering services. The integration of Wolverton’s transportation and energy teams has fueled CHA’s growth across the Southeast.

“Our team has done a tremendous job identifying firms to become part of CHA that hold the same values toward responsive client service and quality,” said Jim Stephenson, CEO of CHA Holdings, Inc. “With expanded staff and resources in Boston, New York City and the Southeast, our opportunities are boundless.”

CHA will be recognized for its achievement at the official awards ceremony as part of Environmental Industry Summit XVIII in San Diego, CA on Thursday, March 19th.
