Sandra Fox is CHA’s Director of Technology Operations. This position, in which she directs all of CHA’s Information Technology and Technology Solutions activities, represents the latest success in a spectacular CHA career that started when she was a Data Processing Specialist in 1990.

Since then, Sandra has been promoted six times, having held positions ranging from Computer Systems Specialist to Manager of Information Technology. She became a Principal in the firm in 2000. For many people, becoming a Partner or Principal is the culmination of a successful career. For Sandra, it represented yet another beginning.

Sandra is a true practice builder. After becoming a Principal, she envisioned, created, and established the Technology Solutions Group, which provides our clients with technology services and solutions including software development, website design/development, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and visualization/simulation services, all centered around CHA’s core business of engineering. When Sandra originally proposed the concept of creating a new profit group to CHA’s senior management, they were quick to recognize the value of the proposal and supported her vision fully. Now, five years later, the group continues to grow successfully and profitably.

"CHA’s Partnership has been there for me every step of the way,” reflects Sandra. “Their confidence in me has been inspiring. Building my own business within the company has been one of my dreams since I interned in the Information Technology department during college. With the Partnership’s support, I have been able to accomplish many of my career objectives at a relatively early age.”

In fact, Sandra has been recognized by several community and business organizations as one of the Albany area’s most successful young professionals, including being named as one of the area’s 40 Under Forty in 2004. “CHA has been just as committed to my career as I have,” Sandra reflects. “I’m proud to be a valued member of the CHA team.”
